What started out as a friendship online with an orphanage administrator who found me through my music, has turned into the most wonderful experience and a myriad of miracles for orphan and needy children in Uganda.

Hello! I'm Sara, and welcome to my site! I don't remember a time where music wasn't a part of my life. I began composing music in my early teens, but it was through an experience in high school seminary where I knew I wanted to write Christ-centered music. One day, sitting in class, beautiful orchestrated music from a particular seminary video about the life of the Savior impacted me so much that I also wanted to share my testimony through song and help others to come unto Christ. It has been my mission ever since. I am so grateful you are here and hope my music can make a difference in your life and those you share it with.
Each song contains an inspiring and individual mini sermon that reaches the very core of one’s heart. The simple and beautiful melodies make these messages impossible to forget. A truly inspired work.
As the producer of “Sounds of Sunday” for 19 radio stations, I feel “Thy Healing Hands” from Sara Lyn Baril is an exceptional inspirational album. It contains original new songs from some of the finisest singers in the LDS community, and Greg Hansen’s arrangements are amazing! We play several songs from this album. One that we play most frequently is a “A Place to Heal” by April Meservy, a beautiful tribute to the temple.
